The Top 100 Fanfiction Stories - The Winners

Okay, so way back on August 7th, I made a shocking announcement about this little thing that I like to call, The Top 100. And it was all about the best stories out there. Mind you, this wasn't in my opinion. If it was my opinion they'd all be slash or dark. So with that said I'd like to remind everyone of what the rules were.

"This is all about the top 100 fanfiction stories. But not my top 100, this

is your top 100. And when I say your, I mean all of you. I want to know

what you guys think of to be the best of the best. This is not about reviews

or read count this is entirely about what stories you prefer. It doesn't

matter if they're finished, on permanent hiatus, still in the works, a one-shot

or what. I don't care if they're famous stories or stories that only have a

handful of reviews. I don't care if they are AH, AU, Canon, Non-canon,

Slash, or what. I want to know which ones you like."

So, to put it simply, there was no rules at all. It just had to be a Twilight Fanfiction, that's all.

To give everyone a little insight into the nominations which ended November 15th. At first I was going to put them all together, contact every author, make a huge poll and let people vote. Well there was one problem with that. Where do I find a poll for 1800+ titles? I've never seen a poll that large. So I was left with a couple options, minimize to say the top 300 for people to vote on and go from there, still don't know a poll that large though. So I scratched that option. I went to my next option, the nominations would also be the voting. This was the option I decided upon. If I do this again next year (well this year now), I'll do it differently.

Then I had the next problem, contacting authors, I did this the right way and got permission from EVERY author. Which is why I'm telling you this. There were about thirty stories that should have been on this list but aren't. So if you're wondering why your favorite story that has like 10000 reviews didn't show up, it's because I never got permission to post it in the list, or I was even told that I wasn't allowed to. That being said, all the stories that are on this list should be honored. I will tell you that I got 1827 different stories nominated, and was given 269 nomination sheets at as many as 25 per sheet. Every story that made The Top 100 had at least 8 nominations.

Jacob POV

My love for Bella had never been enough. If this now wasn't proof of that, I didn't know what was. It had been two weeks since we had fought against the newborns, two weeks since Seth and Edward had destroyed Victoria and her goon, two weeks since Seth had accidentally killed Edward. Bella had never left the spot of Edward's death.

Though even now, in all this pain, she forgave Seth. She never blamed him, but she wasn't going to leave Edward, even in death. There was always someone watching over her, one of the Cullens or one of us. I could tell she knew that we were here, in the shadows, watching her pain.

It was the reason I had chosen to come today, because any of the others would try to stop her, and I wasn't going to. She had been grieving for two weeks, and it was clear in my mind that this was the end. Part of me, some foolish part, hoped she would look my way and say that I was enough for her, but I knew the truth, I would never be enough.

I remembered the snap in Seth's mind when he couldn't take the scent of another vampire in the area. We hadn't had enough time to stop him, for the fire had already been built and burning. The change in Seth had happened so fast that even Edward hadn't been able to fight back. It had been all of an instant and then Seth was all instinct, and somehow, after everything, Bella had been able to forgive Seth.

It didn't help Seth's guilt though. He'd been up here watching Bella, trying to make up for it in the only way he could. If he knew what I did about Bella, he would be up here today and would surely be trying to stop her, but I knew the reality of this. There was no way to stop this from occurring, but I knew that everyone else, even the Cullens, would try and stop it.

It had taken Edward dying for me to see just how perfect Bella and Edward were together. I had seen it the instant it was too late and I wondered why I hadn't seen it sooner. But now I understood why I was never enough.

Some of the ashes had stirred from the dead fire, due to the wind, but most of the ashes were still there; who knew how much of it was Edward's. Bella was knelt in front of the ashes, just looking at it. If her lifeless eyes now saw anything that was.

It was painful watching her, knowing what I knew. I could see now what I wish I had seen from the beginning. She loved Edward more than her own life, that much was clear. I knew she would easily have given up her own life to let Edward live. I could see that now.

This was why she could never move on with me when he was gone. She had always been meant for him and I was never enough, never would be. In many ways, the bond between Edward and Bella had been similar to a werewolf's imprint, and the way Bella now mourned her loss was similar to how the folk tales explained Taha Aki's grief upon the third wife's death.

I had to wonder why I hadn't been able to see all this before, and I had to ask myself if Edward would still be alive if I had stayed instead of Seth. Sam and the rest of the pack had heard me ask this question mentally several times, they all have come to the same conclusion that it is better this way, for now she can live out a human life. I knew better, because the truth of what had happened was right in front of me. When Edward had died, so had Bella.

It was why I was here. I knew that she was done kneeling and mourning. The time for that was over, and it was now time for her to make her next move. Unfortunately, since I wasn't enough, I already knew what her next move would be.

I was here to witness and nothing more. I knew quite well that the Cullens would be angry at me for not trying to stop her, and I knew that there was a chance I would be banned from La Push and the pack for this. But I had to give her this because there was one promise that was burned into my mind. A promise that I had made to Edward several hours after our last spoken word. I had promised him that should ever anything happen to him, I would protect Bella to my last breath, no matter what form that protection took on.

Standing here, now, I knew this was the only protection I could give her. I could protect her by allowing her to die without trying to stop her. I could protect her by allowing her to join her mate. For that was what Edward was, he was her mate. I wished there was some other way to protect her. But this truly was the only way, as I wasn't going to break a promise.

I moved slightly closer to Bella as I watched. I didn't know how she intended to kill herself but I knew she did. It had been her plan ever since Edward died, and I knew she would enact it soon. I wasn't wrong.
Bella didn't turn around, but her voice carried clear as crystal. "Jacob, I know it's you that's here. You're the only one that doesn't bother trying to talk sense into me. I sort of wonder why; the rest, they all want me to leave–want me to leave him and go on. I wonder what it is you see that they don't. What is it that you recognize now that you could never acknowledge before? I suppose it doesn't matter, it's too late now. I think you know that, don't you?"

With each of Bella's words, my heart was destroyed a little more, but I knew each word was true, for once; she was speaking her heart without thinking of others' feelings. Like she said, it was too late now. I didn't speak, swallowing my words, letting them die, because there was nothing I could say.

She pulled something off the ground, a sharp, jagged rock that used right would certainly kill her quickly. My eyes drew to the weapon that I knew would be her demise, before returning to look at her head as she spoke again.

"I need you to tell Seth that none of this was his fault. Edward and I are meant to be together forever, it just so happens that our time together isn't here. Tell my father I love him and I'm sorry. Tell the Cullens that this was how it had to happen. And Jacob, for what it's worth, I do love you. I know that isn't worth much right here and now though."

She didn't give me time to think over what she had just said. I closed my eyes as she shoved the jagged rock into her chest. In the next moment, I heard her heart splutter, trying to fight against what she had done to herself. Her heart constricted several times before stopping, and then the thud of her body falling to the ground proceeded.

Tears ran down my face as my body shook from the great pain filling my body. The pain took over, and I changed to my wolf form. I chanced a look at the now bloody ground with Bella's dead form lying there.
Then I let out a piercing howl of sheer agony.

QUESTIONS

Why should I read False Pretenses? I think you're an ideal reader if you love your fluff with a side of angst and tears. It's a realistic take on everyday circumstances and therefore can be quite bittersweet. It puts a spin and some unexpected twists on the classic tale of young love. I think a lot of people connect to it because they like reliving their high school days and first loves.

Where did you get inspiration? I was reading a story where the usual gang are at a boarding school and the idea really clung. The whole concept has always fascinated me. I had always wanted to go to a boarding school when I was growing up, and I thought how amazing would it be to basically have school in a setting where you live with your friends and you're away from your parents. I mean, I love my parents as much as the next person but being with friends only is like being at school camp- so much fun. The idea stuck with me and I thought about the potential a boarding school has for friends, romance and drama and I was sold. I decided to take the cliched high school fic and make it my own.

What do you think is the best thing about your fic? It's not a superficial story, though it may seem like that due to the high school setting. The characters are very mature and deep. They're able to feel so deeply and the relationships really draw you in. I think that while the premise of the tale seems shallow, the story ends up surprising you. Fate is also a large theme woven into the play.. the decisions and growth are quite inspiring. The cliche that reinvents itself.

I noticed that you're currently on hiatus. Why is that? I am so sorry to all my readers about that. It's taken much longer then I expected. I found myself a wonderful editing team and we worked to completely beta the whole story. It's been a long process. The reason it's taken longer then a month would be because of RL and that I'm starting a new Twific review site with some friends.

About the Author

What book has influenced your life the most? Twilight. It has completely taken over. Every waking moment I'm thinking about something Twilight-related. Usually it's FF stuff, but that's a branch off Twi, yeah!?

What do you believe the next big thing within the Twilight universe will be? I don't think there will be a NBT in the form of a person or site, but probably high school fics or murder mysteries. Everyone secretly loves them.

What fanfiction do you squeal over every time it is updated? Starry Eyed Inside by Rochelle Allison.

Why did you start writing fanfiction? I saw a lot of fics on ExB at boarding school and wanted to put my own spin on the cliche.

What do you believe a key element to writing fanfiction is? This is the question where most "please-the-readers" authors would say 'good characters' or 'plot' or 'inspiration'. But I'm not a liar. While those things are all important, the real answer is: Time. No matter how inspired or driven you are, if you don't have the time to write it, you'll inevitably leave your readers hanging.

Who is your favorite Twilight character? Edward Cullen. A lot of people don't actually like him but he's it for me. The one who ruined me for all men.

What was the first fanfiction you remember reading? The first Twilight fanfiction I ever read was Innocent, Vigilent, Ordinary by Oxymoronic8.

If you absolutely had to choose between team Jacob or team Edward which would be (no saying you can’t or saying another team instead, choose one of the two)? Ahh... the age old question. Edward or Jacob? Dude, asking this question is offensive... Team Edward. Unequivocally. There's no question.

Interview with Fates-Love-Queen

What is your favorite thing to cook? My nan cooks a lot of sweet things and fortunately has passed on her recipes to me. I love to bake. Cakes, biscuits, slices, puddings... etc.

What do your friends say about you? Generally that at a glance, i'm quiet and reserved, but once I warm up i'm loud and can talk the leg off a chair.

What type of music do you enjoy? I love music, and my iPod contains the wierdest mix of music, ever. Music from the 50's all the way up to now. Rock, Pop, RnB, Classical, Jazz... I like it all.

What talent do you have? Um, i'm not sure if it's a talent, but I have a thing for accents. Put me in a room and after a few minutes i'll start talking in whatever accent is being spoken, unconsciously.

I can also speak an American, English, Irish, Scottish and South African accent at the drop of a hat :)

What do you do to relax? Listen to music or take a bubble bath.

What is the one thing that you would like to do more than anything? To sound completely cliche', i'd love to travel and see the world. Especially as I have friends all around the globe.

What was your best job? What i'm doing now, which is Nursing. I love it.

What is your earliest memory? Um, probably my pre-school teacher taking away my Humphrey B Bear toy when I was about three, as I was putting on a show with him and distracting other kids at rest time. And she never gave it back!

What is your favorite color? Pink and yellow.

What is your greatest fear? Spiders, bugs and birds... lol.

What is your guiltiest pleasure? Ice cream, hands down.

What is your happiest moment? Probably when my fiance' proposed :)

If it was your last meal, what would it be? A huge bowl of ice cream, lol.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? To take life one day at a time and to not obsess over things that are out of our control.

What book has influenced your life the most? Wow, this is hard, as i'm such an avid reader. But i'm going to have to say Warlock by Wilbur Smith. I received an autographed copy for my sixteenth birthday and it was the first time I had been co completely sucked into a book. I read the whole thing in two days.

Coming in a close second, as corny as it sounds, would be Twilight. Simply for the fact that it enabled me to find this amazing fandom, and I have met some amazing women and friends here.

When was the first time you fell in love? High School... lol.

What one thing always brings a smile to your face? My friends on twitter :)

If you were deserted on an island, what three items would take with you? Sunscreen, food and Robert Pattinson ;)

What is the worst pick up line that you’ve ever heard? Okay, I was working at McDonalds when I was fifteen during high school, and this guy came up and asked me if I came with the Happy Meal... True story!

When you were a child what did you want to grow up to be? I wanted to be a singer or a journalist, like April O'Neil from the Ninja Turtles :)

Why do you enjoy writing? Honestly? It's cathartic. I'm such an emotional person and writing has become an outlet.

What do you find hardest to do in writing fanfiction? This is going to sound completely ridiculous, but lemons. I'm so nervous when I write them!

What fanfiction do you squeal over every time it is updated? There are so many! But i'd have to say Elememental by TallulahBelle. That story owns me.

Why do you love fanfiction? There are so many great authors out there who write amazing stories, and have a blast reading them :)

Why do you love Twilight? It was the love story that sucked me in and the message that I took away from it. Bella is just an average human girl who could be any one of us and she's found this wonderful love in Edward. It shows that love can find you when you least expect it and that when you find love, you have to fight for it, no matter what. Sure, we may not all face psycho vampires and extreme blood lust to contend with, but all relationships have problems and hurdles and it shows that if you work at problems as a couple, you can overcome anything.

Why did you start writing fanfiction? Probably the same reason everyone else did, I wanted more of the characters and I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it.

What do you believe a key element to writing fanfiction is? Don't write something that you aren't comfortable with and I think you really have to love it.

What is your favorite fanfiction pairing? Um, probably Bella and Edward.

Who is your favorite Twilight character? Alice or Charlie.

What is your most favorite underappreciated fanfiction? I actually have three.

So I would like to start by thanking all of those who entered. I would also like to say, that except for the ones that no one was going up against, all decisions were difficult to make. Next I want to apologize, at the time I started this contest my sister was pregnant, and couldn't find a job in her line of work, since then, both statuses have changed, so my sister has had no time to make banners, which means that I've been left to do them. I do not have photoshop and I am having trouble learning how to run gimp. So I went and used scrapblog to make the banners. That being said, my banners are not of the quality that most sites give. What is your favorite thing to cook? Pretty much any type of pasta is my favorite thing to cook. I have a lot of sentimental attachment to cooking it.

What type of music do you enjoy? I will listen to pretty much any type of music, aside from country. I love the lesser known bands and groups with unique sounds.

What talent do you have? I’ve been playing the flute for 12 years, the piccolo for the last 8, and played the tenor sax, oboe, and piano for a little while too.

What do people always ask you? In real life or online? In real life I am continually asked how old I am (23) because I look like I’m about 17. Online – especially on twitter – the number one question I am asked is when the next update will be. That’s followed closely by ‘how do you think of the twisted stuff Edward does to Bella?’ [The answer varies: some days it just comes to me, some of it is from various nightmares I've had over the years, some is inspired by music or music videos, etc.]

Where is the one place in the world that you would like to be? I would love to be back in Paris, but I’ve always wanted to live in London.

What do you love to do or wear even though it isn’t fashionable? I really love old clothes from the eighties. It’s awful and wrong but I can’t help it. I’m a sucker for block print sweaters with shoulder pads and leggings.

What is your greatest fear? My greatest fear is being a bad human being. I’m terrified about never becoming a valuable member of society. Other things I’m afraid of include: needles entering my skin, heights, and deep water.

What is your guiltiest pleasure? Twilight is my guiltiest pleasure. I have a couple of others too: shopping at thrift stores, drinking slurpees, and watching America’s Next Top Model.

What did your mother always tell you to do? My mother always told me to make good choices. My dad, on the other hand, used to tell my brothers and I to keep our mouths shut and our pants zipped.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? My best friend gave me excellent advice a couple of years ago: Be yourself. Never be afraid of who you are.

What is the worst pick up line that you’ve ever heard? I used to be a waitress and always had to endure awful pick up lines. My two favorites:

Guy #1: Comes in, orders a coffee. Gets my attention and simply says, “I like your face.” That’s all. No follow up. Just “I like your face.”

Guy #2: Leaves a map to his house drawn on a napkin with the heading ‘Guy in White Shirt Thinks You’re Hot’. Followed by ‘come here for a good time’ on the back.

When you were a child what did you want to grow up to be? When I was a child, I wanted to be a veterinarian. Well, first a professional basketball player, then a doctor, then a veterinarian.

Why do you enjoy writing? Writing is enjoyable to me because it is always a challenge. Coming up with new concepts and making them adhere to a plotline is always interesting. Plus there’s so much creativity. I love it.

What do you find hardest to do in writing fanfiction? The hardest thing about writing fanfiction is avoiding overused plotlines or fanfiction clichés. I try really hard to think outside the standard format for writing ff.
Why do you love Twilight? It's funny -and kind of blasphemous - but I'm actually not in love with Twilight. The characters are interesting, the storyline is good, but I'm not in love with it. (Please don't hurt me!!!)

What is your most favorite underappreciated fanfiction? My favorite under appreciated fanfiction has to be Octoberland's Hold Me. Seriously, her version of deranged newborn Bella gives me goosebumps. I absolutely love it.

What is your next story going to be? My next story will probably be a collection of cut scenes from Lovegame. After that, I would really like to write something fluffy and sweet. I’ve been kicking around an idea for a NM AU fic inspired by Pablo Neruda’s love sonnets. (He’s one of my favorite poets.)

If you absolutely had to choose between team Jacob or team Edward which would be (no saying you can’t or saying another team instead, choose one of the two)? Ugh, if I absolutely have to choose…I pick Team Edward. Jacob becomes a little too manipulative for my liking in Eclipse.

As she returns, Alice has had some unsettling visions about Renesmee's future.

The Cullens decide as a family that they should intervene and finally get Renesmee back as they don't want her to go through it alone. So they restart school in Forks even though it's only been a few years. Renesmee notices them when they first start school and somewhere in her mind she recognizes Bella, but can't place her. Renesmee shrugs it off.

Is it smart for the Cullens to intervene after all these years? What about Jacob? What is it that has been discovered? How will Renesmee take the news?

A taste of the one-shot

I was doing okay. I waited for my coffee, collected it when it was ready, and thanked the server, all without issue.

That all went out the window as soon as I turned around and headed to the table where he was sitting. He shot me one of his infamous and dazzling smiles, and I lost all the nerve that I had previously had.

Sweat started beading on my brow and my hands started shaking- not great when you were carrying a hot drink.

Both my hands were clutching the saucer as I walked but it didn't help. The cup was rattling precariously on the china plate below it; scorching, light brown coffee was sloshing over the edge dangerously close to hitting my skin. The cup had taken on a mind off its own and was acting more like a jumping bean then a holder of hot beverages.

People were looking at me strangely, not that I blamed them. I probably looked like a drug addict with my shaking hands and sweaty brow, not attractive, I'm sure you'll agree.

As I reached the table Carlisle jumped up and took my drink from me, his hand brushing mine as he did, which didn't help because I nearly dropped the whole damn thing.

"Whoa! Are you okay there?" he asked smiling as he placed my coffee on the table.

"I'm fine, thanks," I managed to mumble as I sat down. I looked at my drink; my cup was practically swimming in a pool of my own coffee.

This had not started well.

We stared at each other for a while not saying a word.

He could tell I was acting different. A small smile of amusement was on his face the whole time we gazed at each other. He was waiting for me to declare exactly what was wrong with me today.

The whole situation was very difficult. On one hand I was pretty sure this was the worse decision I had ever made, ever. On the other hand I wanted him more than anything in the world, ever.

My heart was racing, my palms were slick with sweat. The key in my pocket was getting heavier every second and I knew the time had come.

I reached into my pocket, pulled the key out and slid it across the table towards Carlisle.

The key was silver and attached to a black, plastic, diamond shaped key ring. The number 18 was carved distinctly into the smooth plastic and colored white.

Black and white were just colours, eighteen was just a number and a diamond was only a shape, but mix them all together and attach it to a key and it turned into a completely different creature indeed.

Its message was plain and clear. It was a cliché, and for some reason it was seductive. What it represented, what it was offering, was the best tool of seduction I had.

That key was offering a night of debauchery, of pleasures of the flesh and that's what I was offering: myself to him.

The silence continued but instead of staring at each other we were staring at the key that sat between us.

"What's this?" He asked.

The uncharacteristic tremor in his normally velvet like voice alerted me to the fact that he knew exactly what it was.

"It's a key," I replied, sounding a lot calmer then I felt.

"I can see that" he replied quickly.

"It's for a room in a Motel." He let out a shaky breath as everything became a lot clearer.

I was suddenly overwhelmed. Four months I had waited for an opportunity like this, four months I had lived in nervous anticipation.

Even if he said no, even if this is not what he wanted, I had to know. If I didn't do this now I would regret it for the rest of my life.

I suddenly felt calmer, stronger now that I had found my courage.

"I can't do this anymore Carlisle. I can't sit here every Friday and pretend that we are just friends, pretend that there are no feelings between us when I know there is. So I am doing something about it."

His head shot up. His blue eyes met my brown ones and stayed there. He looked surprised, shocked but my new found courage held strong.

"I will be there from seven o'clock tonight. If you don't show up then I know you aren't interested." The silence around us was deafening and seemed to stretch for hours.

Finally he took a deep breath and broke it.

"You want me?" he asked as thought it was impossible to believe.

I stood up knowing that I needed to get out of there as soon as possible before my courage left me.

"Yes Carlisle, I want you. The question is do you want me too?" I said before I walked out, leaving the key sitting in front of him.

Once he neared my table, he tripped and stumbled slightly, before getting slightly flustered, red tip-toeing up his neck and ears. He was so fucking cute.

I had to admit I liked that people underestimated Cullen's sex appeal, dismissing its existence when they took in his appearance. He had this nerdiness to him - this sexy nerdiness. He tended to wear simple jeans and sweaters that were too big for him; hiding his undeniable abs. Black, wide rimmed glasses hid his green eyes and his bronze hair was often pushed off his face, twisting in every direction.

Cullen had grown up next door to me, and on the rare sunny summer days I'd notice him strip off - giving me full view of those amazing abs and that sexy snail trail.

"Hey Cullen." I winked up at him, patting the seat next to me as a gesture for him to sit down.

"Hey, Isabella - Bella." He stuttered and shook his head as he realised his mistake before continuing "So, I'll do the research tonight and I can give you the notes in the morning if you like." His words were rushed.

"What kind of partner would that make me, Cullen?" I frowned dramatically.

"The normal kind." He muttered, thinking I couldn't hear him.

"Well, Cullen," I began, feeling bad that he seemed upset and patted his thigh underneath the table "Maybe I'm not normal." I gave a little wink as I squeezed his leg and he sucked in air. Oops, but not really.

He chuckled nervously "Do you want to meet up later and do it, or do it here?"

"Do me here, right now Edward."My internal voice demanded.

I smiled as I imagined him grabbing my roughly and having his way with me on the table after sliding all the books and papers off it.

We vanished almost two weeks ago because of a terrible loss in our family. The blog member Tish died after a car wreck. As a result we had to close down our blogs temporarily, make changes, grieve for our loss, and prepare for what is to come now that all of that is done we are opening our blogs back up.

Leah POV

Waking up to the young Cal sleeping by my side felt good, right. I blushed remembering the prior night. I hadn’t been certain at first that he had–in fact–imprinted on me, but now I knew. We had finally decided to consummate our feelings, and I was happy for the first time in a very long time.

Jacob and Seth were hell to be in the same pack with. They were both in the same boat too; they were both in that damn over-abused nanny stage (though Jacob was quickly moving out of that stage), along with Quil. I tried not to think about the other wolves all that much, I was only a wolf when I was on patrol. I couldn’t take being a wolf at any other time. Too many of the pack members were in some form of love, lust, or adoration. Or a combination of the three.

It was like with Renesmee and Jake. Renesmee, now five years old, was developed enough that Jacob was starting to feel emotions beyond the best friend and nanny emotion he had always had. He now was beginning to fall in love with her and lust for her body.

But now I had Cal. He had joined the pack much later than the rest of us. He had only joined the pack three months ago. He was only eighteen, and I was seven years older than him. In many ways it made me feel like I was robbing the cradle, but I didn’t really care.

Last night had been the best night of my life, being with Cal. Seeing the length of him, feeling his stroking thrusts, touching him. All of it had made our relationship so real.

I started to think, fuck, today was April first. I knew the pack was planning on doing something to Cal and me, I just didn’t know what. I had had patrol with Brady and Collin a few nights prior, and they were never good at hiding their thoughts. Though they had managed to keep me from extracting exactly what was planned.

I flipped over so that I was on top of Cal and kissed his lips chastely, before kissing downwards. Both of us being naked definitely had its advantages. He wasn’t a heavy sleeper so I knew that he would wake up soon enough.

I kissed my way down the column of his throat, down his chest, and too his right nipple. As I took his nipple into my mouth, he stirred, groaning, “Fuck.” A small smile graced my lips as I continued to suck on his tit.

“Leah baby come back up here, you didn’t give my mouth enough attention.” He murmured softly.

I grinned; he had been awake longer than I thought he had. I kissed my way back to his lips. He opened his mouth to mine and I let my tongue explore his mouth, much the way that I had the night prior. I had more experience than him and he let me lead, most of the time.

This morning he seemed to be wanting to get on with it. He put his hands on my hips and guided me to where he was already erect. I teased him slightly. Running his erection over my slit but not allowing him entrance. He growled.

“Tell me what you want, Cal.” I murmured as I moved over him again.

“I want to be inside of you, now.” He growled, and with that he flipped me over, and then he was inside of me.

His hands were kneading my breasts, his tongue violently stroking against mine, his thrusts deliberate and powerful. Each thrust into me made my hips respond by thrusting back, as I tried to moan around his lips, but his insistent kissing made it impossible.

I heard the lightest thump at the edge of the room but was too busy to pay the noise any mind. He kissed me even more desperately as he tightened inside of me. I raked my nails down his back, actually drawing blood. He growled again, but this time it was out of excitement.

There seemed to be a haze in the room, but I didn’t pay much attention to it. I lived near the ocean, the window was open, and fog often times came through in the morning.

I was getting tighter again, and knew I was soon going to come. Cal’s thrusts were off tempo which told me just how close he was. It wouldn’t be long before we both came, and hard. I closed my eyes, allowing myself to get even farther into it, as I pulled him even tighter against me. Cal let out another groan.

That was when the smoke alarm went off. I opened my eyes and our whole room was gray, the fire had to be close, “Fuck,” I cursed under my breath. We didn’t even have time to get dressed or finish what we were both so engrossed in.

I shoved him up, grabbed his hand, and dragged him to my bedroom window. He got the picture and went out, I followed him out.

What I saw when I got out… I knew.

Jacob and the whole god-damn mother-fucking pack were standing there. Embry snapped a photo of us in our complete flabbergasted shock.

“Happy April Fools Day,” Jacob said with a chuckle.

I was right.

“This isn’t funny, Jacob Black.” I snarled at him as I put my hands on my hips. I looked at Embry directly, “Embry, you will delete that photo.” I widened my glare to include the entire pack, “You will all forget about this.”

“Sure, sure,” they all said as one, adopting Jacob’s favorite patronizing statement.

Jacob chuckled, “The smoke from the smoke bomb should clear up in an hour or so. I expect you both to show up at your patrol shifts, other than that, well we’ll be going. Because I don’t think any of us want to catch girl cooties from staring at you naked,” with that he and the pack ran off.

Cal and I were just made fools of on April Fools Day. We were outside, ass naked. We were stuck this way for at least an hour. They had a photo of us naked that would surely be posted somewhere before the hour was up. We would never live this down, as the pack would remind us every single fucking time we shifted. And I was still aroused.

What type of music do you enjoy? I have no specific type of music, I enjoy anything with a good beat and lyrics. It has to be catchy.

What do you love to talk about? I love to talk about anything and everything.

What do you do to relax? I turn my music up to the highest volume my television can go to, curl up with my laptop, or I lay back in a scolding hot tub of water.

What do people always ask you? "Sarah, are you okay?" Even when I'm happier than a cat with catnip they ask that!

Where is the one place in the world that you would like to be? Romantic alert, so sweet you'll get sick: I would like to be in the arms of the guy I love. Doesn't matter where we are, either. Just so long as we're together.

What is the one thing that you would like to do more than anything? Get a degree.

What do you do in your spare time? I do a lot of things in my spare time; singing, write my twi-fiction, roleplay on occasion, or cause mayhem.

What do you love to do or wear even though it isn’t fashionable? I love to wear a tan and brown suede Alan Jackson signed baseball cap with everything I wear.

What is your best trait? My eyes. They are this strange shade of green, bordering sea foam and pea green with a cobalt outer ring, and a golden sunflower in the center. If you don't know what a Golden Sunflower is in context to the eyes, it's the pupils, which are the middle of the sunflower, surrounded by the strange gold/yellow/brown/whatever color of the petals. My sunflower has brown speckles. =]

What is your earliest memory? My first birthday, I shoved my face into my birthday cake.

What did your mother always tell you to do? "Sarah, clean your room!" Mostly because my room was a cluttered tidiness.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? "Life is too short to try and be perfect. Live everyday like it's your last, 'cause tomorrow sure as hell ain't promise to ya!"

What book has influenced your life the most? Honestly? Twilight. Mostly because I was in the same situation was Jacob. My Bella, who was a male instead of female, couldn't decide between me, the Jacob, or his other love, the Edward. He still ended up picking the Edward in the end.

When was the first time you fell in love? I'd have to say it was roughly between the years 2006 to 2008.

What one thing always brings a smile to your face? A 'Good Morning, Beautiful' text message.

If you were deserted on an island, what three items would take with you? My Laptop, Solar Powered Multi-Charager, and a Wireless Internet Modem.

What do you find amusing? I find it amusing when a guy gets flustered because the girl he likes isn't as shy as he thought.

When you were a child what did you want to grow up to be? I wanted to be a Veterinarian.

What do you believe the next big thing within the Twilight universe will be? Personally, I believe the next big thing in the Twilight Universe would be a behind the scenes, in depth version of Jasper's life from the time he was changed and employed in Maria's army, to the time he joined the Cullen's.

Why do you enjoy writing? I enjoy writing because it acts as a relief for me. A hint into my personal past, I use to be a self-mutilation diva, and I exchanged permanent silvery scars for permanent ink on paper.

What do you find hardest to do in writing fanfiction? The hardest thing for me to do in writing fanfiction is making sure I keep my facts straight. Because of that, I've had to create a blog that I could jot down important details like family relations, the back-story behind a specific event, or the cars they drive!

What fanfiction do you squeal over every time it is updated? There are more than one I squeal over when it's updated; Running by Merina Green, Once Bitten, Twice Shy by Lifelesslyndsey, The Last Mile by Catonspeed, Orbiting Meteor by Idreamofeddy, The Quiet Room by Givemesomevamp and of course Darlin' along with Love and Other Four Letter Words by my best fic friend, Remykilday.

Why do you love fanfiction? The reason I love fanfiction is because it gives you an opportunity to read other possibilities. In Twilight, for instance, Edward and Bella still get together, but maybe they aren't vampires in this universe and therefore need other troubles they manage to make it through.

Why do you love Twilight? At first, I didn't love Twilight. Then I read the first book for a class assignment, and I was hooked. It was mostly due to the fact that, like every other book, I grew addicted to the persona of Edward as he is portrayed in the book. By New Moon, I didn't like him much, yet I still squealed when he returned at the end. Due to the Movie Adaptation using RPattz as Edward, I fell out of love just as quick. He didn't match up to the description. Now, Jasper? Oh god, yes.

What do you believe a key element to writing fanfiction is? I believe imagination with a hint of logic are key elements to writing fanfiction.

What is your favorite fanfiction pairing? I have several favorite fanfiction pairings. Jasper/Bella, Emmett/Bella, Carlisle/Bella, Paul/Bella, Peter/Bella and Caius/Bella. I also enjoy Jasper/OC stories, but those are few and far between.

Who is your favorite Twilight character? I have a few that I love to death. Rosalie Fucking Hale is one of them. She is portrayed as an evil bitch of the North with an icicle up her cooch but there is a specific reason for her attitude toward Bella, especially when it involves the Vampire Universe. When people use the Vampire Universe, she was beaten by Royce and you know, left for dead, so the fact that she was changed against her desires, for the most part, made her rather bitter toward Bella for willingly wanting to give up the ability to produce children. In the Humanverse, she's usually nicer to Bella, key word being usually. I also love Jasper Fucking Whitlock, mostly because he is a badass Vampire whose control is a hell of a lot better than the Cullen's give him credit for. Yes, Bella smells juicy and delightful, but please... If he really had no control, he would have attacked her when he first met her. He just managed to wait until she actively bled in front of her. Oops. But still, that is what had pissed me off. She was bleeding in the studio, but why didn't Jasper attack her? Was he so focused in the kill of James that he didn't smell the blood? We'll never know!

What is your least favorite pairing? Edward/Bella. I hate it with a passion.

What is your next story going to be? Well, my next story is all Vampires. I had played with the AU-Human concept, but I could never get further than a fourth chapter, so I'm testing the water with an AU-Vampire story. It involves my OC Sarah who grew up with Bella in Forks, including the Res wolves. Bella had a freak out the night before she was due to board a flight with Sarah back to her hometown, they attended college in Tampa, Florida, and while in the first class of the plane they meet Jasper and Peter, who knew them before they even met, and you'll see how later on. So far I'm only one Chapter 2, and I'm not going to publish it until I'm past chapter four, damn it. This problem is driving me bonkers.

What do you like to do when you write? I have to have background noise. Silence drives me crazy, I can't concentrate. Well, mostly I just write, I don't think about what sentence comes next. So I plug up my MP3 to my xbox, turn it to the loudest volume setting, and let the 800 and some odd songs jumpstart my writing mojo. I gotta have a glass of Mountain Dew Code Red, with ice, next to me. If I get stuck during a tricky part of my story, I move from the laptop, grab paper and pen, and write that way. Then when I believe I got through the block, I race back to the laptop, give the handwritten part a makeover and make it all glossy and sparkly and bam, I'm writing again.

Okay, don't say it. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know. This is supposed to be a Twilight site. It's also my site, and I want to rec this story out, even though it isn't Twilight.

This is a story that takes place in modern day society. It is about vampires (amongst other supernatural beings). This story has lots of gore, and several people were made sick in the first chapter. The first chapter is actually the prologue which takes place 57 years prior to the rest of the story. The prologue is how you are introduced to the reasoning behind Callidra's (the main character) lust for revenge.

Callidra's ultimate goal is to kill and destroy all vampires. But more importantly she wishes to kill Donohue, the man who murdered her mate.

This story has lots of sex, but not so much love. It is pure lust. The story is listed as erotic and there is a lot of erotic scenes.

This story isn't Beta'd so if you go read it please don't kill her over a few a grammar errors.

Apolizing Where It Is Due

I will apologize to the creators of the lovely videos posted on my site. I should have mentioned the name of the creator on each of them, and I have went through every video post and corrected that. I did not expect anyone to believe that I could possibly even begin to make several videos a week. I have made only one video and I already know that I will never make another, that video caused way too many gray hairs for me.

I will also say that I will not apologize for using youtube embedded coded feature to my advantage, unless you want to go to every blog, ning and spruz site out there and tell them to take off all unauthorized videos (that includes music videos folks). Introduction

One moment, that's all it takes, a single solitary moment to change your life forever. That's what happened to me, a devastating chain of events lead me to my moment and now I find myself here. Back to one thing that defines who I am; back to him.

Standing in front of the door to something so familiar to me, and still I find myself unable to go inside. He's been waiting for me; I know he has. He's been forewarned of my decision but I can't force my feet to listen to my head. My heart is racing and the anticipation is paralyzing me, I need to get this over with. So I calm my nerves take a deep breath and go inside.

Walking though the entrance of the Forks Hospital brings back so many memories of a past life. I life I must leave behind. Something I'm not ready to do... but I'm here now and there's no turning back. I walked to the receptionist's desk and waited patiently.

'May I help you young lady?' A petite woman with greying brown hair and glasses asked me as she sat down in front of me

'Yes, I'm here to see Dr. Carlisle Cullen.' As the words rolled off my tongue I felt a chill run down my back.

'Do you have an appointment?" She smiled at me but it didn't touch her eyes

'No! It's no like that I'm not a patient, I'm family. But yes he is expecting me'

'And your name is?' She looked rather annoyed

As soon as the words were spoken I saw a change in the way she looked at me, like she knew who I was.

'Do forgive me. You must be the Alex he's been talking about all day" She smiled again and I felt, this time, that she was being more sincere about it. 'His office is right down the hallway, the last door on your right'

'Nice to meet you Janice' I took her hand in mine and we shook. I tried to remain numb to her but that was easier said than done.

This is me letting off some steam, so don't read if you aren't prepared to read some stuff you probably will not like.

Things I hate in the Twilight Fandom:

Requiring stories to be beta'd to get entered into contests and challenges. I'm sorry, but what the fuck? I honest don't mind errors in fanfiction stories, it makes them seem fucking human. And honestly do you read some of the novels that are published in the real world? They have errors, in matter of fact I could post a list of real stories that have grammatical and punctuation errors by the thousands.
Crap reviews and crap reviewers; if you say, 'Great chapter', 'Great story', ':-)', etc... just don't bother, why waste the time, mine and yours. If you can't at least say something real in the review then there's no fucking point. As for reviewers, if you are reviewing a story and the chapters are several thousand words long, I do not believe that you are actually reading it when you review a chapter a minute.
Twilighted and Twilight Archives, I will say this once, they are both great, in theory. But honestly it's crap. The server is extremely slow on both, and I'm sorry but I know people who enter stories and then it takes two to three months before it finally gets validated.
Reviewers who yell at you because your grammar, punctuation, spelling isn't perfect. I'm sorry, I'm human, I make fucking mistakes. Also may I point that there are like ten different writing styles for English.
People who flame specified stories or authors. Seriously, get a life
Sides bullshit, honestly, get over it. So you think Robert's hotter than Taylor (or vice-versa) big mother fucking whoop. So you think them choosing Peter for Carlisle was a mistake, don't care. I will say this once, I like Emmett. I do not fucking rub it into peoples faces. I do not write or read Emmett only stories, I do not make a point of killing off the characters I dislike, I do not make characters jackasses just because I dislike the character. 'I seriously hate Jacob, so I will either kill him off, make him gay, or make him retarded in every story I write' by anonymous. If I ever read something like that again it'll turn very bad for some people.
Genre haters when they haven't even tried it. 'Well I will never read all human' by Jadiona. That is what my one sister use to say. She finally tried a couple AH and now over half of what she reads are AH stories
People who call stories unrealistic... Ahem fiction... as in not real
All fluff, all plot. I hate them both. If you can't mix a story so there's some fluff and some plot than you shouldn't write. All plot stories get too serious and too hard to read. All fluff is pointless.
Me... since I can't seem to get any inspiration to write and therefore can't update my own stories.

Okay... most of you read that first line, blew it off, and now are ready to kill me. I did warn you. Some of you probably are thinking to yourself, 'he's right', but you can't say that out loud so now you want to yell at me. Go ahead. I had to get some anger off my back and venting does work.

This is my blog though and these are my opinions.

"Have you always been so easily tempted?"

Bella's words ran in a continuous loop around Edward's mind, making concentrating difficult. He knew exactly what she had meant, but that didn't stop him from obsessing over all the different meanings. And it didn't stop him from wondering to himself - Am I so easily tempted?

Bella blushed and flushed and sent him tiny smiles across the table. Bella was anxious and awkward and so easily flustered. Bella seemed so young but at the same time about ten years older than what she was. Bella was his student, and so it now seemed, his friend. But Bella slipped a cherry sluiced finger in between her lips, and glanced up at him from underneath long lashes. Bella ordered two more pieces of pie, and swung her tiny little jean-sheathed hips as she walked back toward him, smile on her face, cherry pie in her hands.

Am I so easily tempted?

Bella leaned across the table and argued with him about Heathcliff and Catherine, about love and passion, about revenge and redemption. When Edward scoffed at the supposed love between the novel's two main characters - who he couldn't bring himself to call the protagonists - Bella challenged him to show her better examples of love. So Edward recited to her from the book of letters from Keats to his lover, Fanny Brawne.

"My love has made me selfish. I cannot exist without you — I am forgetful of every thing but seeing you again — my Life seems to stop there — I see no further. You have absorb'd me."

But Bella was not convinced, and although she listened with chin in her hands and smile on her lips Bella still argued that obsession to the point of distraction was not love.

So easily tempted?

Edward argued that Heathcliff and Catherine were cruel, unforgivable, unlikeable, unredeemable, hell-bent on destroying the lives of each other and everyone else around them. Bella argued that the intensity of their love was their redemption. She argued with conviction, with passion, with determination, and while she was adamant that Edward change his opinion she was overwhelmingly stubborn and refused to see things from his point of view. Bella licked her lips before she spoke, tugged on her ponytail when she was conflicted, flashed her brown eyes when she disagreed. When she leaned across the table to snatch Wuthering Heights from Edward's hands, he caught a hint of cleavage, a cream coloured swelling. When she blushed the alabaster skin around her collarbones flushed light pink, and when she saw him looking she didn't meet his eyes.

Tempted.

Before leaving the cottage, Edward and Bella each drank a full skin leaving four left but Bella was still a bit thirsty. They decided to go out right away and hope for the best because they were both too excited to wait any longer. Edward and Bella agreed if they had no luck with scoundrels during the night, they would return before dawn to quench her remaining desire.

"I tend not to eat as much when I'm excited though," she said as they walked down to the beach.

The water was warm on their cool skin and Bella dropped her dress to her feet. It sat in the sand like a tide pool and she stepped from it as the moon caressed her smooth bare beauty. Edward smiled with his eyes first, his lips taking the scenic route and catching up a moment later.

His own wrinkled clothes came off in a breath of movement and he too stood in the naked light of the star filled night.

Jacob walked to the beach to collect their clothes as soon as he heard their splashes thinking he would not see them for days, but he was wrong.

Underwater, Edward was very grateful for his keen new eyes because he otherwise might not have enjoyed the sight of the nude goddess swimming with him.

Your eyes will adjust my love.

Bella always seemed to know what he was thinking.

And I will attempt to ask questions that imply a yes answer to make things easier.

Edward grabbed her arm and when she turned she could see the puzzled look on his face. She could also see that his cheeks were puffed out with air.

Bella's mental laugh sounded just like her real one and Edward closed his eyes in delight as he listened to it. He then felt her push her fingers into his cheeks causing a great spring of bubbles to issue from his mouth.

I'll give you an example, Bella thought as she looked into deep green eyes that made the very ocean around them look like a dull puddle. Would you like to kiss me?

Edward answered with a kiss.

See what I mean? Yes answers.

Edward tried to send Bella mental words but she never responded. He let the muffled world of the bay fill his ears accompanied only by her sweet voice in his head. They kissed, floating a few feet from the white sand on the harbor floor and the distant surface that swallowed slivers of moonlight attempting to impregnate the liquid below.

Weightless and wrapped up in each other, Bella and Edward drifted with the tide in their embrace and sailed deeper into the inky depths of the Atlantic. The water would sometimes surprise them with hot and cold currents but that just made the water between their bodies that much more delicious.

Follow me. Bella instructed, breaking their kiss and darting away from him.

Edward took a moment to enjoy the view as she swam away before starting after her. They swam fast and the rushing water parting for Edward licked his skin in such a way that by the time Bella slowed down he was upon her with a hunger that sent them both cart wheeling into the midnight blue cushion of the sea.

Edward lifted Bella's body to his mouth by placing two strong hands on her rear and pulling her flat stomach up to his passionate kisses. He slid his hands up and down her back as she grabbed his head and held it between her breasts. She wrapped her legs around his back and pushed his head further down.

Edward responded by moving down until her thighs were resting on his shoulders and he was kissing the shiny pink flesh between her legs. Tight brown curls tickled his nose as they danced in the current he created while he drove them both onward with the force of his attention.

Bella arched her back which altered their movements even more. Within seconds, she was floating on her back and staring up at the blurry stars as they filtered down to her wide eyes. Edward was using vampire speed to titillate her already sensitive flesh and it created tiny Champaign-like bubbles that clung to her skin as they traveled up her entire body and stuck in her hair.

Edward…you're…gah.

There was no use trying to think in full sentences, Bella was lost in an ocean of pleasure as the tactile bombardment of her body threatened to send her into a frenzy.

Bella's hands were deep into Edward's hair as the rush of her climax shook them both and she pushed his face into her with might when she realized he did not seem ready to stop just because she had shuddered in his grip. He knew she was not yet done.

Edward's lips pulled at her silky folds and drew them into his mouth where he used his tongue to find and capture the rose bud of flesh that made Bella tighten her thighs around his neck. He liked driving her mad and he was not intending to stop until she forced him to. Or they bumped into one of the many ships hovering above them.

Even then, he did not think he'd stop.

She would not let him.

Edward loved the way she felt and tasted. He was savoring her every twitch but he slowed down to give them both a moment of slow bliss. His tongue covered her and played with the delicate petals of skin that had grown swollen under his consideration.

Do you want to see a shipwreck?

Bella knew they had drifted away from the spot she first led him to but it would not take long to go back.

Edward swam up to look at her but shook his head.

No?

Edward pointed up to the water's surface and an escaping ship that had, only moments before, been right above their heads. He shook his head again, this time giving Bella a sour look.

Are we in luck already?

Oh yes, Edward thought to himself as he nodded his head, but they are not.

It was a small ship but the privateers from America had been boasting about a particularly vicious gang rape they had all perpetrated and that was enough for Edward to declare them fit for extinction.

There were eight pirates in all and Edward threw them overboard one by one with a heavy bag of gold tied to each of their legs. He and Bella fed off them for the rest of the trip while they let the ship drift until some lucky human could take possession of it and all the food items left onboard.

The bodies of the condemned men floated on their valuable tethers and were released as each one was drained and the gold taken to Bella's villa. Jacob was surprised at their early return that first night and reported that his writing was slow going, but very promising.

He would not show either of them his work until it was finished.

"It's only been a few hours," he protested. "Let me figure out what it is first."

A one-shot or poem contest for Twilight

When the clock strikes midnight is someone there with you in the Moonlit-night? Or do you mourn the loss of a loved one? Is it by the grace of light that you find yourself falling in love? Or did love's eternal rose fall out of your hand and onto the ground of ashen leaves? Does one kiss equal eternity? Or does eternity equal a lifeless nothingness?

A challenge for all, whether you are into tragedy or romance, adult or youth, one-shots or poetry. A total of ten award possibilities.

Rules:

Must be Twilight related.
One-shots have a maximum word limit of 5000 words, and poems (also technically a one-shot) have a maximum word limit of 1500 words. (There is no minimum for either, thought it must be complete.) -(Maximums are guidelines only, we will accept longer, but we encourage them to stay under)-
Authors can enter up to three one-shots or poems.
Collab work is welcome
There are two ratings: adult and youth. Adult is M/R and MA/NC-17. Youth is K/G and T/PG.
Smut of any kind is welcome in adult only.
Romantic must be romantic, and tragic must be tragic.
Poetry can be any style (free-verse, haiku, acrostic...)
A beta for the story is preferred but not required.
Any character, pairing, species (human, vamp, wolf...), tense, and point of view is allowed.

In case you didn't notice all the Admins have now been named. Here are brief summaries of each of us.

Jacque, I am the creator of this challenge. I am 18 years old and am by far an old man when it come to the Twilight world. I read the first book, Twilight only a month after it came out. I started reading fanfiction the month after New Moon was released due to my disappointment in New Moon. At the time I went by Untimely Death on FF, but later was removed from Fanfiction by an admin due to a story of mine.

Jadiona, this is my older sister and she is the banner creator for the winners of this challenge. She will also act as a beta for anyone who feels they want or need one for their entry. My sister is probably the least biased of us all and will be enacting as a moderator to ensure that all stories entered do obey the rules.

Tish, is my other older sister. She will help Jadiona with the banners and will also act a moderator for poetry entries. Poetry is Tish's specialty so that will be her main area but she will be a part of deciding for all winners.

Cassita, is my younger sister and as it says, she will be working with youth stories only. This due to both her age and comfort zone.

Dreamer's Hope has opted to anonymity, just know she is an actual author on fanfiction.net with dozens of stories, and she used to go by this name on there about eight years ago, she no longer does however. She will be one of the judges for this contest.

Artemis The Goddess whose true name is Diane used to be a member of Smut 'N' Blood, the site Jadiona used to write for when it was still up. She has offered her service to judging, and since she is neither a real author or read of Twilight Fanfiction she will have less bias than most of us.

A Nightmare's Rendition of Love who has opted to anonymity, was also a prior member of Smut 'N' Blood, and is a current fanfiction author on Twilighted under a different name. Has agreed to judge on the adult stories

Hope In Funny Places has opted to anonymity and is an actual poet. She has agreed to judge poetry entries only.

Paulina of Faith is a prior member of fanfiction and wrote under the penname of Unforgotten three years ago. She has agreed to judge one-shots only (not poetry).

Some things I would like to make clear.

The maximums are not law, we will take stories over, but we really appreciate those who stay under.

I did not say the story had to be wrote just for this challenge. Therefore we will accept older posts, it just has to obey the rules.

Do to the fact that we are allotting three entries each per person we have decide that us, The Darkness (Jadiona, Tish, Cassita, and I) will each enter one entry. Our entries will not be considered for the ones we must decide on, but will be added in to the voting ones.

All entries will receive a review from either Romantic Tragic, if you are on FF, or Jacque if you are on TWCS. The review will confirm that your challenge is indeed within the rules and will also have an actual review with it (words of encouragement, etc...)

I know how challenges work, and lots of people don't submit till the last week. I make a suggestion that you don't do this. The longer we have to look at it, the more familiar we can be with the piece and the more likely we are to choose it. Pieces posted submitted in the last week won't be as well looked at, and its chances of winning will naturally be lower.

Edroar the Angry Lion by Tropical Sorbet

An all-human story of where Bella is Edward's-the author of Edroar and CEO of Cullen Publishing-new masseuse and he is not an easy client to please. In matter of fact, that is probably the understatement of the century. Of course Bella isn't exactly the clumsy, shy sweetheart we all know either. In Tropical's own words... 'Bella has the face of an angel... and the mouth of a sailor'. Certainly not what would be considered a 'typical' Bella, the beauty of OOC. About the only similarity to Stephenie Meyer's Bella that there is, is the fact that this Bella is also as stubborn as a mule.

When Bella is warned several times about Edward's constant harshness, does she believe them? Not really. Yet before the end of an our sitting next to Edward, she has decided that she hates him. With Edward's tyrannical behavior and Bella's overall confidence can either of them begin to have a working relationship? (Much less an actual one)

There's a slightly comedic feel to the story, yet there is an underlying tension also. Can two people with far to similar attitudes possibly find some form of peace? Can Bella tame the beast? Or will she be scared away from him forever? Is there even a possibility of something more between these two?

I've been informed several times that my 'Summer's Most Romantic or Tragic Hour Challenge' is actually a contest. Okay, well here's my two cents.

Challenge, contest, tournament, competition, game, sport, trial... It all looks the same to me.

Most 'Challenges' that I host will most likely be 'contests'. Sorry, I like the word challenge better.

Okay, I've said my peace, I am sorry for the the confusion.

Ever wonder what exactly happened to Jasper in the days before he left Maria, perhaps you wonder how Charlotte came to be with Peter, or maybe it was before Charlotte met the boys when Jasper and Peter we more than just the brothers that most of us imagine them as.

We want your pre-Twilight One Shots. Not just any pairing either. We have a special challenge for you. We want the Whitlock’s at war. We want them within Maria’s Army. We want them bad, we want them vicious, and we want them victorious.

RULES:

1. Your pairings: Jasper/Peter, Jasper/Maria, Peter/Char, Jasper/Charlotte, Jasper/Peter/Char, Jasper/Maria/Char, Jasper/Peter/Maria, Charlotte/Maria, Peter/Maria

2. Slash is encouraged.

3. Length must be 2000+ words, max 10K

4. Lemons are not mandatory, but will be gladly accepted.

5. Collabs are welcome.

6. You must be 18+ years to enter. Sorry but we are allowing smut so no minors!

7. Entry must be beta'd as we will be validating all One Shots for grammar and punctuation.

8. Things we will not allow are murder, rape, incest, bestiality, or pedophilia. We will only accept murder if it is part of a battle scene.

9. Bloodplay is fully acceptable.

10. You are not allowed to tell your friends or stranger’s for that matter which fic is yours.

11. You can not post the story under your account until after the winners have been announced.

We reserve the right to refuse any fic based on the above rules. We're happy to answer any and all questions or provide further clarification on the rules.

We will start accepting submissions on July 12th, the last day we will accept submissions is Sept 12th. Voting is September 14th through September 20th.

Okay some of you may have noticed that I haven't been putting up many recs, teasers, and such lately. Here's why, I have no one to rec. So here's my humble plea for help. I need story titles for stories to rec and get teasers for. I need author names for authors to rec. So if you have an author or story please let me know. Also tell me what site they are found on (i.e. TWCS, FF, Twilighted, Twilight Archives, Adult FF...). If you don't want to fill out the simplified forms I now have, just list them on a comment. Pretty please.

The Hollows Of Vengeance by Taken By Blood

In early 2006 the author who went by Taken By Blood wrote a story called The Hollows Of Vengeance. In this story after James bit Bella he got away, and Edward chose to let the venom spread. The first chapter was a detailed, painful description of Bella's change. When the change finally completed itself and Bella came to completely, Edward's worst fear is realized.

She didn't want to be a vampire after all. She doesn't blame the Cullens though. No, she decides to go after James to seek vengeance. As many say, seek and ye shall find, those words never hold truer than in this case. Yet when she finally gets her revenge, it is not as liberating as she hoped.

Instead it feels like there is nothing left at all. She heads back to the Cullens to see if she can find whatever it is that seems to be missing in her life. She ends up sleeping with Edward and it revives her emotions and for a moment she is truly happy. In the morning however she feels the guilt of some of the stuff she has done, and decides she can't stay with Edward or the Cullens any longer.

The story ended with her leaving. It was an open ended story and probably should have had a sequel at some point. The sequel never came, this story and her were kicked off of fanfiction.net in December of 2006. She never reposted the story anywhere else.

The story had a little more 120000 words, 19 chapters, and just over 1000 reviews. Now all that is still seen is a memory of what used to be.

A Special Recommendation, join in on the newest challenge

This challenge has a little something for everyone. It offers a spot for tragedy, and one for romance. A spot for poetry and for one-shots. It offers a youth challenge and an adult one. You can post your story either on FF or on TWCS This challenge will be supervised by The Darkness, amongst others. There will be fan-voted winners for several of the awards and some will be chosen by us, The Darkness and others.

A taste of chapter 15 – Werewolf

The night that Bella had gone missing had been the night that I turned into a werewolf for the first time. I had heard the news through the grapevine, or–in other words–Charlie called Billy, and Billy told me to go outside, and from outside I heard him tell Sam. That night I shifted, and that night I discovered my true heritage.

I used my right to be an alpha male and split from the pack. I was on my own now, and wasn't planning on returning to Forks, not without Bella. I had traced that bloodsucker's smell to Winnipeg where I found Bella at a honeymoon suite, and had listened to him and her talk like love-doves. I had wanted to shred him the moment that I had heard them talking like that; he had to have put some kind of spell on her.

I didn't know how he had, just that the Bella I knew wouldn't so blind. The few times I had met Bella she had been extremely perceptive. She understood too much to believe his act unless he had somehow tricked her, brainwashed her.

The bastard bloodsucker had convinced her to marry him. He had had sex with her, it disgusted me. I knew that I had to convince her to return home, to come back with me, but I had no clue as to how I was going to break through the leech's mind control.

My first shot had been a total failure; she had slammed the door in my face, literally.

Summer's Most Romantic or Tragic Hour Challenge

A one-shot or poem contest for Twilight

When the clock strikes midnight is someone there with you in the Moonlit-night? Or do you mourn the loss of a loved one? Is it by the grace of light that you find yourself falling in love? Or did love's eternal rose fall out of your hand and onto the ground of ashen leaves? Does one kiss equal eternity? Or does eternity equal a lifeless nothingness?

A challenge for all, whether you are into tragedy or romance, adult or youth, one-shots or poetry. A total of ten award possibilities.

Rules:

Must be Twilight related.
One-shots have a maximum word limit of 5000 words, and poems (also technically a one-shot) have a maximum word limit of 1500 words. (There is no minimum for either, thought it must be complete.) -(Maximums are guidelines only, we will accept longer, but we encourage them to stay under)-
Authors can enter up to three one-shots or poems.
Collab work is welcome
There are two ratings: adult and youth. Adult is M/R and MA/NC-17. Youth is K/G and T/PG.
Smut of any kind is welcome in adult only.
Romantic must be romantic, and tragic must be tragic.
Poetry can be any style (free-verse, haiku, acrostic...)
A beta for the story is preferred but not required.
Any character, pairing, species (human, vamp, wolf...), tense, and point of view is allowed.

Contest Dates:

Sumbissions may be entered from July 15th to September 30th
Voting will be from October 1st to October 10th.
Winners will be announced on October 15th
