Interview with Fates-Love-Queen
What is your favorite thing to cook? My nan cooks a lot of sweet things and fortunately has passed on her recipes to me. I love to bake. Cakes, biscuits, slices, puddings... etc.
What do your friends say about you? Generally that at a glance, i'm quiet and reserved, but once I warm up i'm loud and can talk the leg off a chair.
What type of music do you enjoy? I love music, and my iPod contains the wierdest mix of music, ever. Music from the 50's all the way up to now. Rock, Pop, RnB, Classical, Jazz... I like it all.
What talent do you have? Um, i'm not sure if it's a talent, but I have a thing for accents. Put me in a room and after a few minutes i'll start talking in whatever accent is being spoken, unconsciously.
I can also speak an American, English, Irish, Scottish and South African accent at the drop of a hat :)
What do you do to relax? Listen to music or take a bubble bath.
What is the one thing that you would like to do more than anything? To sound completely cliche', i'd love to travel and see the world. Especially as I have friends all around the globe.
What was your best job? What i'm doing now, which is Nursing. I love it.
What is your earliest memory? Um, probably my pre-school teacher taking away my Humphrey B Bear toy when I was about three, as I was putting on a show with him and distracting other kids at rest time. And she never gave it back!
What is your favorite color? Pink and yellow.
What is your greatest fear? Spiders, bugs and birds... lol.
What is your guiltiest pleasure? Ice cream, hands down.
What is your happiest moment? Probably when my fiance' proposed :)
If it was your last meal, what would it be? A huge bowl of ice cream, lol.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? To take life one day at a time and to not obsess over things that are out of our control.
What book has influenced your life the most? Wow, this is hard, as i'm such an avid reader. But i'm going to have to say Warlock by Wilbur Smith. I received an autographed copy for my sixteenth birthday and it was the first time I had been co completely sucked into a book. I read the whole thing in two days.
Coming in a close second, as corny as it sounds, would be Twilight. Simply for the fact that it enabled me to find this amazing fandom, and I have met some amazing women and friends here.
When was the first time you fell in love? High School... lol.What one thing always brings a smile to your face? My friends on twitter :)
If you were deserted on an island, what three items would take with you? Sunscreen, food and Robert Pattinson ;)
What is the worst pick up line that you’ve ever heard? Okay, I was working at McDonalds when I was fifteen during high school, and this guy came up and asked me if I came with the Happy Meal... True story!
When you were a child what did you want to grow up to be? I wanted to be a singer or a journalist, like April O'Neil from the Ninja Turtles :)
Why do you enjoy writing? Honestly? It's cathartic. I'm such an emotional person and writing has become an outlet.
What do you find hardest to do in writing fanfiction? This is going to sound completely ridiculous, but lemons. I'm so nervous when I write them!
What fanfiction do you squeal over every time it is updated? There are so many! But i'd have to say Elememental by TallulahBelle. That story owns me.
Why do you love fanfiction? There are so many great authors out there who write amazing stories, and have a blast reading them :)
Why do you love Twilight? It was the love story that sucked me in and the message that I took away from it. Bella is just an average human girl who could be any one of us and she's found this wonderful love in Edward. It shows that love can find you when you least expect it and that when you find love, you have to fight for it, no matter what. Sure, we may not all face psycho vampires and extreme blood lust to contend with, but all relationships have problems and hurdles and it shows that if you work at problems as a couple, you can overcome anything.
Why did you start writing fanfiction? Probably the same reason everyone else did, I wanted more of the characters and I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it.
What do you believe a key element to writing fanfiction is? Don't write something that you aren't comfortable with and I think you really have to love it.
What is your favorite fanfiction pairing? Um, probably Bella and Edward.
Who is your favorite Twilight character? Alice or Charlie.
What is your most favorite underappreciated fanfiction? I actually have three.

What is your least favorite pairing? I'm leaving myself open to flames here, but honestly? I don't really read BellaxJasper fics... :( It's just personal preference. But having said that, I have read two or three that were absolutely amazing! What is your next story going to be? I am a complete contest hoor, so probably another one-shot. I am also working on chapters for my multi-chap stories.
What was the first fanfiction you remember reading? Wide Awake.
