I'm not COMPLETELY done, I want to change up the dailies, and I'm editing the forms page... but other than that, I think I'm done, so time to change my background, enjoy.

Changes

A Darker Twilight is currently undergoing some changes. When the bunny cloud background disappears, you know I'm done.

I also wish to apologize for my slack on this site. But I believe with the changes I plan on making, it will change that.

The Top 100 Fanfiction Stories - The Winners

Okay, so way back on August 7th, I made a shocking announcement about this little thing that I like to call, The Top 100. And it was all about the best stories out there. Mind you, this wasn't in my opinion. If it was my opinion they'd all be slash or dark. So with that said I'd like to remind everyone of what the rules were.

 

"This is all about the top 100 fanfiction stories. But not my top 100, this 

is your top 100. And when I say your, I mean all of you. I want to know 

what you guys think of to be the best of the best. This is not about reviews

or read count this is entirely about what stories you prefer. It doesn't

matter if they're finished, on permanent hiatus, still in the works, a one-shot 

or what. I don't care if they're famous stories or stories that only have a 

handful of reviews. I don't care if they are AH, AU, Canon, Non-canon,

Slash, or what. I want to know which ones you like."

So, to put it simply, there was no rules at all. It just had to be a Twilight Fanfiction, that's all.

To give everyone a little insight into the nominations which ended November 15th. At first I was going to put them all together, contact every author, make a huge poll and let people vote. Well there was one problem with that. Where do I find a poll for 1800+ titles? I've never seen a poll that large. So I was left with a couple options, minimize to say the top 300 for people to vote on and go from there, still don't know a poll that large though. So I scratched that option. I went to my next option, the nominations would also be the voting. This was the option I decided upon. If I do this again next year (well this year now), I'll do it differently. 

Then I had the next problem, contacting authors, I did this the right way and got permission from EVERY author. Which is why I'm telling you this. There were about thirty stories that should have been on this list but aren't. So if you're wondering why your favorite story that has like 10000 reviews didn't show up, it's because I never got permission to post it in the list, or I was even told that I wasn't allowed to. That being said, all the stories that are on this list should be honored. I will tell you that I got 1827 different stories nominated, and was given 269 nomination sheets at as many as 25 per sheet. Every story that made The Top 100 had at least 8 nominations.

What do your friends say about you?  I have an amazing imagination.

Where is the one place in the world that you would like to be?  70's all year round, That is where I would love and wish to be.

What do you do in your spare time?  Spare Time? Please tell me what is that? But baking is fun for me.

Who would you be played by in the movie of your life?  Julia Roberts

What do you love to do or wear even though it isn’t fashionable?  Flannel, my favorite material.
  
What was your best job?  Favorite was a Walmart service desk clerk.

What is your best trait?  Open minded

What is your earliest memory?  I remember stubbing my toe at about 3 yrs old and saying out loud.. My fucking toe and my mom yelling at me that she didn't want to hear that again.. so I ran behind my bedroom door and repeated it 4 more times.

What is your favorite color?  My favorite color is Macaroni and Cheese Orange

 What is your greatest fear?  That I would die and not have told the ones I love that I love them.

What is your happiest moment?  The day my daughter was born.

If it was your last meal, what would it be?  Unending plate of Crab legs 

What did your mother always tell you to do?  *shakes had* nothing never mind. 

When was the first time you fell in love?  The first time I fell in love I was 18 and thought he was my soul. Then he left me to go to Korea

What one thing always brings a smile to your face?  Seeing my 3 favorite people *smiles*

If you were deserted on an island, what three items would take with you?  My bestest and some beer and food.

What do you find hardest to do in writing fanfiction?  Keep on one train of thought.

What fanfiction do you squeal over every time it is updated?  Wow, just one? Can't be done.

Why do you love fanfiction?  It is nice to see others thoughts and imagination working.

Why do you love Twilight?  Love the thought of a couple loving so deeply, knowing they will last together forever.

Why did you start writing fanfiction?  My imagination got the best of me.

What is your least favorite pairing?  Seth and Bella


What is your next story going to be?  Maybe a made up female and Marcus, or Caius
 

What was the first fanfiction you remember reading?  It was on twilighted and it was about Lily who was a hybred before Edward and Bella met.
